WHY are you eating that?!

Welcome to our weekly 90-Day Blitz Vlog!

This video is specifically designed for high achievers.  Why?  Because people who choose to remain at status quo and those who only care about the TASTE of their next meal MIGHT have an excuse for maintaining poor habits.  And someone who is simply unaware might really not know any better. But, YOU, a self-professed high achiever, have ZERO excuses for remaining asleep to these concepts if you REALLY want to achieve your life goals!

Truth be told, this information is not common knowledge in today’s world. This is not taught in mainstream education, nor is it widely publicized by modern media. So, it’s no surprise that most of us didn’t grow up on this data. But, what a shame if we allow that trend to continue for another generation.

In today’s video, we’re talking about eating consciously versus eating compulsively. And, I’m not even talking about moral judgements or decisions here. I’m talking about simply being PROACTIVE versus reactive with our foods, and truly being aware that our food dictates the overwhelming majority of our health. I’m talking about waking up to the simple truth that our blind consumerism is literally killing us.

We have been brainwashed for the past 75 years to the tunes of billions of dollars and millions of lives – no exaggeration and no joke. And the sad part is that we’re not learning our lesson. We’re still marching blindly like sheep to the slaughterhouse. Because, as a society on the whole, we’re too lazy to investigate, we hate change, we blindly trust our doctors, and we don’t believe that our government would ever let such a thing happen.

But, think about it…

  • Does it make any sense to you that many years of eating factory “foods” and packaged goods (which are really just chemical soups with good marketing) would lead to overall health?
  • Did you know that it has been proven by science and medical research that years of stress, fear, anger, and other negative emotions can actually become DISEASE in the body? Think about it. Disease = dis-ease.
  • Did you know that one soda shuts down your immune system for half a day? (Thank you, carbonation.)
  • Did you know that 5 minutes of anger shuts down your immune system for 8 hours?
  • Did you know that today, in 2019, the average doctor has no more than 4-7 hours TOTAL nutritional education in their entire body of coursework?  Most of them are simply taught to write the prescriptions and treat the symptoms.  They are typically not taught to address the root cause and work toward true healing.  (Don’t get mad at your doctor.  They’re simply doing what they’ve been taught to do!  It’s our fault for allowing this to become a norm in our society.)  Yes, there are still really great doctors out there, but it is actually the EXCEPTION to the rule these days to find a doctor who digs deeper and works to help their patients prevent illness and maintain overall wellness.  This means that we must take charge of our own health!!  

And yes, all of these statements are FACTS, not opinion or commentary. But don’t take my word for it…look it up yourself!

How can we say that we want to live long, awesome lives and change the world, but still continue to eat like we don’t care if we die tomorrow?! The standard western diet is literally suicide on an installment plan!

But, what about everyone else? What if you’re not a high achiever? Well, I should still hope that you would want to live a long and healthy life! Forget the fact that millions of people in the civilized world simply don’t know that their daily food choices are literally killing them. But I am shocked every single day by the amount of people that don’t actually want to know the truth!!

So, today’s video isn’t because I want you to fire your doctor or move to a farm and start growing all your own food. I simply want you to ask yourself if you know WHY you’re doing what you’re doing…on every level. Food. Exercise. Sleep. Media. Emotions. Political positions. Generational beliefs. How much of your life is purposeful, and how much of it is compulsive, reactive, or unconscious? Are you tired of being a robot zombie? Are you ready to take charge and become purposeful with your life?! YOU are worth it!! Your family is worth it!!

And remember…it’s OK to START UGLY.

At the end of the day, what matters from this conversation is that we are living with purpose, and we have a clear reason for why we do what we do. Simply because it’s what our parents did is no longer a sufficient answer. Perhaps take 5 minutes and do a quick scan of your life: are there any areas where you’ve been living unconsciously on autopilot? What a rewarding feeling to transform those areas to purposeful intention!
